Solas 100mg tablet contains Mebendazole, an Anthelmintic medication used to treat threadworms (pinworms) and other common worm infections in the gut, such as whipworm, roundworm, and hookworm.
Gut worm infections can initially have mild or no symptoms, but they may progress to cause symptoms like diarrhea, stomach pain, weakness, anemia (low red blood cell count), and nutritional problems. If you do not feel better or if your symptoms worsen after a few days of treatment, it is important to consult your doctor.
Before taking Solas 100mg tablet, inform your doctor about any allergies you have and any other medications you are taking. It is not recommended for use in pregnant women and should only be used under medical supervision in breastfeeding women.
Solas 100mg tablet is not recommended for children under 2 years of age. If your child requires treatment, consult their doctor for appropriate advice. Stomach pain is the most common side effect of taking Solas 100mg tablet. If you experience worsening symptoms, contact your doctor.
