A War Heroine I Speak (হার্ডকভার)

Fayeza Hasanat teaches at the English Department of the University of Central Florida in USA. She is an author, translator, creative writer and researcher. Her Nawab Faizunnesas Rupjalal: Translation and Commentary was published by Brill Publishers in 2008. She has published academic articles and short stories in national and international literary journals and anthologies. Hasanat started her teaching career at the English Department of Dhaka University. A Fulbright Scholar, she earned a Master's in Literature and Philosophy from the University of Florida. She later completed her PhD on Victorian Literature from the same institution. Her research interests include women and gender issues, South Asian diasporic literatures, cultural studies and translation studies. She writes a regular literary column for the Daily Star.
